Adrenal crash help!

Question for all adrenal experts...
My daughter is currently in Rifampin for bartonella. I’ve read that Rifampin can significantly reduce cortisol levels and add to the decline with already depleted adrenals. Dr prescribed Ortho mol adreanall and low dose HC but doesn’t believe Rifampin is a problem. Anyone with knowledge on this?
Also since we are in the midst of treatment he feels she needs to stay on antibiotics in addition to her herbs. I’m scared to continue the Rifampin. She’s been in bed all day and can hardly walk. She snaps out of this in the evening which leads me to believe it’s a cortisol issue. Anyone know if something like Bactrim would be a good substitute for someone with adrenal fatigue instead of Rifampin?

Yes she’s had the saliva test but no results yet. Hoping for them next week. HC is not helping at all. My suspicion is the Rifampin is pulling it out but wondering if others have had this issue. Dr says they use Rifampin and HC together all the time
She’s only on herbs right now with the Rifampin. I know it is typically paired with another antibiotic but dr is waiting a bit to work on her adrenals and detox. What does he say about the HC not working?.... nothing yet. I’ve left a couple messages and spoke with the nurse. They don’t believe Rifampin interferes with HC. At this point I’ve taken her off of Rifampin for the last two days and already see improvement. I know it wasn’t just a herx because she becomes alive in the evenings even while on the Rifampin. Just frustrating the dr doesn’t believe it’s an issue because I’m stuck now playing dr at home. Ugh!

I did notice I started sleeping later when I was on rifampin- I'm not sure why. I think I had some- long standing adrenal issues already though.
