hi all i sometimes do a spit test in a cop becouse i have candida
my question is if yesterday i have allmost no strings in my cop and i eat something lots of carbs or i take just 10 mg pred can just one day from carbs or prednisolone multiply candida so i have lots of strings the next day?

The spit test is more accurate when averaged over a week or so. Candida feeds on carbs and sugar. Pred- I know nothing about.

How accurate is the spit test anyway? I have always had lots of threads after 15 mins or so and the spit sinks like a rock. Is there someone here who actually dont get any threads and the spit dissolves nicely at the surface without trace?

yes, floats for long time.

When I had candida many times, its stringy sinking to bottom.

Do first thing in morning. Have to go to bed with a clean teeth. Wont work if you have a cold or food remains.

Is it 100% accurate ?...no. Regardless what one might read, its does have some accuracy.

$500 lyme tests arent very accurate either lol.

haha, very good point. I will do the test again tomorrow, didnt do it for a several months. I got quite discouraged seeing all those threads, but maybe it is better now. I am on quite a strict diet so it ought to make some difference...

Wish the day would come when you can do a quick 100% accurate spit-test for lyme...
