Hello all,
So wanted to share some thoughts on Cowden Protocol. No affiliation with Dr. Cowden or Nutramedix.
Overall Pros= Well packaged mostly tinctures. Has Bug killers/Detox/Metals/Parasites (Although parasites not until month 3)
Cons = Expensive but not sure you can do it much cheaper when you add it all up. Also I suppose you can customize a Buhner Protocol but I did not have the brain to manage that myself.
I found the protocol easy to follow. Month 1 comes with a book detailing every day and your 4 dose sessions each day.
Hardest part for me i drinking water every 10 -15 min. I find you do herx less when you sip water throughout he day.
Hard to find info on Nutrametix but they claim much of their profits go to charity.
I chose this proticol after being on Doxy and Tindazole for 8 weeks and having good results but realized it would take much more. I did not want to go long term on abx.
However after seeing a new LLMD, I did decide to treat my newly discovered Bart rash with some abx kickers for a few months.
I was hexing pretty good at full does at first and then it settled down to a pretty constant mild herx. If bad,, the Burber-Pinilla detox every 10 min does help. However I'm now also getting Mass Cell meds now and they really help with the herxing. .
So sorry to say I;m not only on Cowden so I can't give a isolated testimony on it but my aim is to beat this down as fast as possible and not be a test case.
My Plan is to use Cowden as my base and rotate with ABX and other scrips during the 7-9 month venture. (Hopefully that will be it)
After, if needed, I'll go back to the Japanse KW and Cats Claw or at least use up what I bought early on.
Can't say I feel much different yet at the 60 day mark but I am getting to be pretty functional and working OK under extreme stress.
I'll issue a update after getting through the parasite session in months 3-4.
