Possible seizure from Lyme?

The other night while I was sitting down I randomly got very lightheaded and a strange chillness went through my body. I got the chills and was shivering. As that was happening my muscles all over my body started to clench up so tight that I couldn’t fight it, it was almost like all my muscles were cramping at once and I couldn’t stop it. I basically lost control of what my body was doing for about 3 minutes. It was a terrifying experience and unprovoked. I couldn’t have made my muscles this tight on my own ever. Something like that has never happened to me so far during my 4th month of Lyme treatment with antibiotics

Wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and if this is seizure related or something else?

I have seen other posts within the last 2 yrs about a similar episode. Sounds very scary and unsettling for sure. I cant remember now who posted it but I will try to search and see what I find.

Have you researched using herbals to rebuild and restore the damage done by Neuro Lyme?

Hi, I had a similar episode to what you are describing and yes it was very scary.. I dont want to worry you but four days after i had this I then had a complete loss of consciousness and a grand mal siezure, very very scary So be careful, This was however the only one Ive ever had.

Im sure its all lyme related as all my lyme sytoms started at the same time as this My neurologist thinks its just epilepsy but cant prove it he doesnt believe its lyme related but he also doesnt believe lyme exists here which is just wrong.

Seizures are definitely a complication with involved Lyme and Co. I have felt close to seizures , more than the usual twitchiness usually after too much Wellbutrin (generic Bupropion). Amy Tan had seizures that put her in a wheel chair (from Lyme n Co). Sorry you are going through this, as it can make things more scary and debilitating than before.
