My Dr doesn't doubt I have it. I'm just confused about
the testing. But I guess that is normal with all this. All my tests come back, well, not definative and it just bothers me.... I'm more of a concrete person...lol. but I've been debating on igenex testing just to see my levels since I heard it's more accurate. I guess it's not really necessary. After years of doctors and testing I just like seeing positives. I know that's weird, and I don't want to be sick, but answers in Black and White are nice. I had thought that pcr was a more definitive test since it's DNA, but after posting I read it's just as inaccurate as the other tests for most people.
I am very grateful for my Dr. She is very knowledgeable and really listens. My follow up isn't for another two weeks so you all are my go to in between

I know that resting can be inaccurate. I currently have Bart stretch marks rashes on shoulders, sides and upper thigh. My left heel has hurt since Nov, nodules under skin off shins, shin pain, general bone pain, and numerous other Bart symptoms including severe psych issues.
My bart igg was positive
Pcr negative
My bart iga was negative despite active rashes. My immunoglobulin a is 90 and scale is 81 to 436. I know this because my iga for ttg for celiac is always normal, even after eating gluten. But my igg will be positive. Is any one else borderline iga deficient? Wondering if I should have igm level tested?
Should I do igenex testing for Bart? Or is there a cheaper option? My Dr believes I have it, so maybe it's not worth testing.
It's usually IgM and IgG that is tested for these diseases.
You have IgG positive - plus stretch marks, nodules...bone pain - psyche issues....'nuff said.
If your Dr. believes you have it...then no need to test. Are you seeing a LLMD?
