I heard about this site today that has circumvented paywalls to allow access to otherwise paid science research.

I havent had a chance to peruse it yet but know there are a lot people like myself who like to access and read these publications.

If you check it out please let me know what it offers and what it lacks.

well for lyme really the most interesting research is free of charge and open access because it is paid by foundations that are funded by patients. so journals like

http://journals.plos.org/
or
https://www.frontiersin.org/
are publishers for many of the good articles

even the ones published elsewhere, are generally open access due to their funding sources.
