Does anyone know truth about this. Is 200 the golden number to reach if you have chronic Lyme?

Mine is 30. Very low. My understanding is that it is an indication of having Chronic Lyme or co infection.

I've read that somewhere that a normal, healthy person's CD57 is around 200.

In Sep 2016, mine was 39.

In Nov 2017 after 6 months of Buhner's, it was 48.

In Apr 2018 after 10 months of Buhner's and 7 days of Augmentin in Dec, it was 86.

So, mine is slowly moving upward.

If I'm not mistaken, cat's claw was proven to reliably raise CD57 levels. I take ridiculously tiny doses of cat's claw plus a whole slew of other herbs. Based on my labs, something is helping.

Lots of past posts on this topic.

Some say its a worthless test since it doesnt always elevate after some feel well. The truth is because their immune system is now damaged and / or they now have some type of autoimmune, which will also lower CD57. Sometimes the truth is not what people (or Drs) want to hear.

I'm going to test cd57 again. In the meantime I tested T cells from Quest labs, they are in the low side of the range. Its funny no one does this insurance covered test. CD57 also measures some T or Natural Killer cells to come up with the total value, I forget which one though.

There is also a "switchable" gene that some might have predisposing them to have a low value of these specific immune cells, or making them weaker. I have this gene, weather lyme "expressed" it or not will remain a mystery.

It would be interesting to see a study on this gene/lyme patients/and low cd57.
