DOG TICKS CARRY LYME OR NO?

My family is no newcomber to lyme. However, many of my extended family and friends have had tick bites in the last few weeks. Some have had the ticks tests, some just a bullseye and others took the tick to the "county" and they identified them as ticks that do not carry lyme.

My opinion was that all ticks "can" carry lyme. Is the jury still out on this? Can't find any literature to back me up.

Since it's thought that even mosquitoes, fleas...etc. might possibly pass on lyme and coinfections, I don't see why ALL ticks wouldn't.

Even if not lyme, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever appears to be transmitted with some of the other ticks.

The tick bite that turned my world over was either a Dog Tick or Lonestar Tick (I find it difficult to distinguish the two). I had a lump at the site of the bite that lasted 5-6 weeks. I had 4 IGG bands light up on the Lyme Western Blot

The CDC / IDSA claims Dog Ticks can only transmit Tularemia and Anaplasmosis. This is absolute garbage.

The CDC / IDSA claim Lone Star Ticks cannot transmit Lyme either. This is absolute garbage also. Their literature makes it look likke they thorougly studied STARI/Masters Disease and decided that Borrelia Lonestari and Borrelia Andersonii are non-pathogenic.

This is part of the crux of the "There is no Lyme here _insert state_". They are limiting the definition of the disease to B. Burgdorfori ss. When reality actually looks like there are many species of Borrelia that destroy peoples lives.

They have messed this up so badly and gotten it so wrong.

I do not believe every tick bite transmits Lyme, but if any of my friends or family are bitten by any species of tick and have a skin reaction or symptoms, I will get them to an LLMD.
