Lymes Disease Literate Doctor on Long Island

Hi everyone, I’m searching for a good lymes disease doctor on Long Island, NY. Preferably someone on the east end or in Suffolk County, but an excellent doctor anywhere on the island would be great. My first lymes test came back indeterminate, and the doctor refused to treat me. I just had the Western Blot test done, and I’m waiting for the results. So many of my symptoms mirror symptoms of this disease, and I’m desperate for answers and help. Thank you!

I have a few listed for Long Island...but I've been told that they're not the best by a couple of forum members.

You might be better off going to NYC area.

Hopefully someone from the area will post on this thread.


Is this a case of chronic lyme...or is it a recent infection?

I think there are only a few "LLMDs" on LI, but it's debatable if they are worth the time and money. I spent $10,000 on a LLMD practice in Glen Head and did not see any improvement nor could I get any definitive answers on if I had active Lyme / Co-infections or not.
