Hi Yogi,
To give your child the best chance....I would seek out an llmd that treats children,or if one is not in your area I would see if one would consult with your current caregiver to form a plan of treatment.
Regarding herbals..I would suggest consulting directly with a Buhner herbalist such as Julie M.
www.gaianstudies.org/herbal_consult.htmlThey do it via Skype or phone I believe for a fee. They are the experts on herbals and would surely know what amounts to give a child per their age and weight.
Yes it sounds like Bart but symptoms can overlap and your child could also have Lyme.
The dogs barking startling your child, could be due to Bart causing auditory issues. When my dog would bark it would set off symptoms for me, also too much input of noise from TV, radio etc.
Make sure your child has a way to calm everything down if this happens. Relaxtion techniques or quiet place child can go to.
Meanwhile look into building her immune system, eating healthy, detoxing and teach your child to let you know what they are feeling and when.
A young child possibly wouldn't say anything because they don't know its any thing unusual unless they were in pain, etc.
keep a journal of symptoms, mood changes, sleep patterns and any other changes.
I wish you and your family the best of healing and feel free to reach out here with more questions or for support.
Take care.
