My first LLMD appointment is coming up and I need to know if I'm on the right track or if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

I have had many neuro lyme symptoms, prolonged liver inflammation, and muscle/skeletal pain for over 2 years. I began seeing an integrative medicine Dr. who suspected Lyme, ran a battery of tests, and referred me to their LLMD. I would appreciate any input interpreting these results so that I can make sure I'm asking the right questions at my appointment. I'm really very sick so the energy it takes to get to that visit... I just don't want to waste my time if none of these results are indicative of Lyme.

Here are the most Lyme- involved ones, from what I've read.

Positive 41 IGG band
CD57 +/CD3 Absolute: 63
CD57 +/CD8 Absolute :32
C4a: 2489
C3a: 93
CD57+/CD8- of% WBC: <1
CD57+/CD3- of%WBC: <1
Multisusceptible/Chronic Fatigue Haplotype 4-3-53

Could it be chronic fatigue??

Was that an Igenex test you had done?

I would be interested in what the other bands showed. If there were some IND lyme specific bands...
Band 41 isn't considered to be lyme specific....but many/most of us with Lyme do have that one.
It represents the flagella (tail) of a spirochete.

Do you have the ranges for the CD57 results? I can't tell if your numbers are low or not.
Low cD57 means immune suppression...which can happen with lyme.

Re: could it be chronic fatigue? Well, chronic fatigue is basically a symptom. And, a good percentage of people with lyme suffer from fatigue...and are often misdiagnosed as having CFS, when they really have Lyme disease.

Good luck with your LLMD appointment.

I think that any good doctor should base their diagnosis on the symptoms of the patient and not so much on lab data.
