Do bartonella scratches go away with treatment

Mine are pretty deep. I can see how the dark purple color might fade away but I wonder im wondering if they ever completely dissapear? Its definetly not my worst symptom to be worried about but im just curious.

I have 2 prominent ones. They've faded a lot since the beginning of treatment in January, but they haven't gone away completely for me. I'm not sure if they will at some point or not, my doctor says sometimes they fade all of the way and sometimes they stay a bit.

Yeah I was figuring that they fade with treatment but not go away completely. Do you experience depersonalization as a symptom?
