French Pharmacy Run?

Hey all, my husband is going to France this week and I want to take the opportunity to get some meds, vitamins, etc. For example, their regular headache medicine is almost twice or more the dosage of the US brands and works way better. It also has codeine in it. You don't even need a prescription. I like to have it on hand for emergencies.

That said, can anyone think of anything else I should have him pick up while he's there? Homeopathic, vitamins, supplements? ATM I have a migraine so I can't think straight, so any ideas would be helpful. European meds have the benefit of sound science without the overbearing hand of the FDA. For example, their vitamin C has less fillers. Obviously, I won't have him fill a suitcase or anything, but are there any items you can think of?

My mom has taken ketotifen for a long time to help with allergies and I think some patients who had mast cell issues found it helpful to control immune cascades. She can only find it in France, pretty sure you can get it over the counter there but they will be discontinuing it soon from what I've been told. I think you can get it in US but only compounded.

If you have herx issues it could be something to look into, but there doesn't seem to be too much info on it in regards to lyme except in relation to mast cell issues.
