These weeks i've started to experience severe fatigue, feeling of fever but i don't have... I don't want to eat.... Anyone has experienced that? Can it be an infective lymphoma? It's not a joke i'm afraid.

My leukocits are 4,6 (normal range is between 4,5 - 7)

My neutrofils are 1650 (normal range between 2500-7000) but when i'm off abx it return normal.

I've been talking by email with a respected doctor on Bart that many people know here and has a lab. I commented him that at christmas when i took rifampin and minocin i had three bad weeks but after that i improved a lot... Unfortunatelly my tinnitus was worse and i was soo stupid that in that moment for me it was more important, and i stopped treatment.... I never feel this improvement again with the same combo...

He said me that it's difficult to erradicate but that i should see improvement in 2/3 weeks, something that i didn't feel again.... Not rifabutin, no rifampin, mo macrolide...

I don't feel anything, even with pyrazinamide.

I'm stronglly considering taking avelox and if i have something here, kill it.... Anyway i'm going to die so i think the risk is higher if i don't take it. My heart is more dilated....

I feared lymphoma last month when I was feverish, and my pain & fatigue had worsened. My LLND assures its not Lymphoma. People with lymphoma bleed & bruise easily and are anemic w/weight loss.

I hope its not Lymphoma for either of us!

I don't have too much fatigue and I don't feel feverish, but the lymph nodes in my neck are swollen like crazy, or at least it looks like it to me. I think it's just the bartonella.

I don't know what is happen with me now... I hope it won't be lymphoma....

I advocate for quinolone because if i have something mycoplasm, bart or any other bug it will be killed...

What i'm experiencing is not a herxing... It's a worsening of symptoms... and i don't like this feeling of fever and fatigue... (I don't have babesia) it only can be lyme or bart or mycoplasma

Yesterday i had a nightmare and i was in bed with ñow fever, fatigue etc... exactlly like now and one week later i woke up with high fever and die....

I'm in shock now because i feel something wrong and it's not good.

Not always true. There are many types of lymphoma. My dad has had it for years with none of those symptoms.


OP i'm not really sure how you arrived at Lymphoma but if you're worried about it you should follow up with a doctor. This is the sort of thing they are good with.

Lauricidin kills cancer and Lyme maybe start it and take three days of the meds to get the neutrophils back right again. Just stopping does nothing but hurt u got to keep killing so they do not populate too much, or you will be worse, lauricidin and allimax garlic will continue the killing and the abx is what is killing the white cells or suppressing them. They will return when you stop unless you have a bone marrow problem.

Last year I went though the blood cancer scare when my white, red bloods cells dropped out, along with platelets. Everything was out of whack.

Went through so much testing with hemotologist - even a bone marrow biopsy. It was so stressful. Was so tired I could hardly make it through day. I also bruised easily.

Turns out all was good on cancers part, but I know it's Lyme and co infections now. Hard not to panic, and Lyme takes our mind to bad places. I'm there now with something else.

OriolCarol - how do you know for sure you don't have Babesia?

Sometimes some of these meds drop our white blood cell counts. The infections can also throw things out of whack. Always good to rule out cancers, but it's not uncommon for these infections/treatments to be the driving force in throwing white blood cells out of normal parameters.

You are on a lot of aggressive therapies currently and started some new things correct? you might want to doc to your doctor and consider easing off and seeing if that helps.

I have a low wbc count when on antibiotics. not really low but under range.

It is usually hovering around 3.4 to 3.6

(4.0 is bottom end of range)

They are going to treat me with factive. I don't know this abx but they don't know what is causing it. I think bart... Anyway i feel i'm going to die.... I'm shaking violentlly, i have pannik attaks every 2 hours, horrible headache... It feels like the end.

I'm doing my best to write now because i feel terrible... Severe weakness in all my body.

I'm writting a letter to my parents and my girlfriend. I don't want to be pessimistic but i think it has won the battle.

I have severe encephalopaty... I'm crying like never but it doesn't matter.

I don't know know if it's oral or IV, my life is in their hands.

Factive is Gemifloxacin.

Fever has dismished, i'm out of hospital right now with an oral prescription of moxifloxacin, because factive is only avaible in hospitals.

I'm very afraid but it has worked with my high fever....

I didn't stop my minocin but i didm't commented them that i was taking it and now 400 mg of moxifloxacin... Here if you say that you're with a llmd, you go to a pshychiatric hospital (of course not, but it's an example)

I'm taking it but thinking that i'm going to be floxed forever.... I made a mistake and read a lot about fql... Aórtic dissection, cns, seizures, cardiac arrest... and i have eldher dan los... I commented that but they said me that it's rare and if i don't do sport the risk is minimal... I don't undersant because they say that in a lot of years prescribing this meds they have not seen any fatal fql reaction and if i read in google it feels like if everybody is going to be floxed without exception...

You have a doctor that is treating you for these infections, correct? if so I would talk to them about the floroquinolone. While I agree, the risks are can seem scary, the stories we read online are going to be biased to the horror stories (because those are the people who are motivated to write about their experience). I'm not saying they aren't valid, and I do think the risks have been vastly underestimated by the medical community, but I'm just saying it's hard to gauge the level of risk based on these selected online readings.

I've heard that lots of magnesium and vitamin c supplementation can help hedge against some of the side effect risks.

Hey Carol, my dad has taken fluoroquinolones many times without reaction. It is not an uncommon antibiotic. Just remember that people who are harmed by it are more likely to post about their experiences online than those who aren't tongue Glad you're doing a bit better. What a horrifying experience.

No, not everyone is going to be floxed when taking that class of antibiotics...BUT it is a risk...apparently a small risk.

I have also read that taking magnesium is a "MUST" with the fluoroquinolones.

Just take it for the shortest amount of time necessary....

If thinks can not be worse... I developed tendinitis in my hands and right achilles...

I had severe suicide thoughts and hearing strange voices.... and a heavy bump arrythmia at now so i'll go to check it at hospital.
This abx are poison from Satanas.

I can't walk, tendons behind my fet hurts a lot...

My heart rate is 180 at rest and have lot of pain in my chest

I have extremelly suicide thoughts that appear like flashes and strange voices... I'm not crazy i never experienced that again.

Are you going to the ER department to be checked out?


The tendon and feet hurting could be from a bart herx.....or it could be from the moxifloxin.

Do you know you have tendonitis? have you been checked out?

Are you on extra magnesium?

Hi Girlie, my heart was fine but 180 bpm.

Tendon pain is fluctuating... I don't know what to do... Continue taking it or stopping.... It's a hard decision...

I'm taking 600mg of magnesium.

In addition to Magnesium, Vitamin C i hear can also help. m

OriolCarol, i was at a lyme support meeting last night, and a lady there was on CiPro for 4.5 years (this was like 25 years ago), so people do take it long term. maybe you can find some reassurance

i would try to get your doctors feedback on it, but i would tend to want to try to stay the path. this could be a herx

Ask if they'll change antibiotics. Most of these diseases aren't resistant if you truly have Lyme and co. So I don't see the need to jump to fluoroquinolones. That might help ease some anxiety about whether it's a herx or a flox
