ethler danlos is a dx to describe a set of traits and symptoms ....however eventually medicine will find it may be congenital passed pathogens rather than genetically inherited traits .....so normally you can hyperextend joints etc?
idk about ed being premptive for floxing ...all of the gulf war soldiers got floxed over there
i now know if you have sulferation issues dont take bactrim ....late better than never rite
Blue - how do you know if you have sulferation issues?
I got some strange blisters on bactrim... stopped taking it - resumed and was fine.
Several weeks later - got some more blisters (when resuming after two weeks off) again - not a “regular “ rash. Told Dr not taking them again - at least for time being.
I also haven’t seen any info - re: having ehlers Danlos makes you more susceptible to floxing.
The tendon rupture isn’t the worst one IMO - it’s the peripheral neuropathy and CNS issues ...
Btw - someone very close to me had the flexible joints consistent with ED and after celiac diagnosis - stopped gluten and joints no longer like that.
