I've recently developed some pain in my right ankle at random times (the join at the base of the top of my foot where my foot meets my leg) and it hurts kinda bad when its on to the point I can't really walk. Does anyone else get that with bart? I've had bottom of foot pain but the ankle pain only came on 3 weeks into starting my new tx plan... sigh.
Aside from the foot/ankle pain and increased bodyaches...all my other major symptoms are starting to subside...hopefully it lasts and gets better!
This was one of my first symptoms that I had a history on but on joint below. I had prior bouts with gout and always thought that's what it was. I had some real bad flares and was on crutches for a few days several times when I started treating. I think joint pain is from Lyme and the foot sole pain is Bart.
This was a ankle I sprained 40 years ago so it follows the pattern of Lyme & Co's picking on prior injury.
I used colchicine to treat.. It works but you have to start at first sign of flare.
