I did not see the infections listed under their first letters.
On the website I have explicit explanations of the following infections: borrelia, bartonella, babesia and mycoplasma. I will write articles about
RMSF, ehrlichia/anaplasma, tularemia and chlamydia in the future.
Both bartonella and mycoplasma are not considered tickborne infections by the CDC which is also valid for chlamydia. Despite that, these infections are generally diagnosed by ILADS doctors and thus worthwile mentioning on the website. But not in short in the encyclopedia but in longer articles.
My website is explicitly about
the infections and the IDSA/ILADS recommended antibiotic protocols. By writing about
alternative health remedies I feel could unintended be sponsoring some commercial parties who benefit financially from those remedies.
I also don't want to write about
those because one of my goals is that my personal family physician feels the information can help him too. I heard from patients that some doctors read the website who only get their information from CDC and find it helpful to read also a little bit more outside of the very narrow scope of how CDC looks at Lyme disease. The patients feel that their physician now understands them better and is more
open minded about
their disease after reading the website.
So the acronyms for alternative health remedies and diagnoses are not really needed on my website.
