Hair loss?

Has anyone here had hair loss from lyme disease? In certain spots of my scalp it has stopped growing, and my general hair quality has declined. Does this come back when you get better from Lyme? Thank you for any answers.

I have a Picker's Nodule or Prurigo Nodularis...I went to a dermatologist when I keep having this lump on my scalp that fills with fluid, so I keep trying to drain it or move it around or pick at it to see if it will pop. It is now a bald spot. It can be caused by a few different things, like autoimmune disease, or stress which it seems I have plenty of both.

My thyroid was fine. I had a brief period of losing some hair. At the time, I was having burning scalp and feeling like I had brain inflammation. I think it was after I started Sida acuta.

I also had some eyelashes missing and some bald spots in my eyebrows. Eyebrows look better. Eyelashes still missing. I'm still very symptomatic and still treating.

Not sure what caused my eyelashes to fall out.
Wasn’t my thyroid either.

It can happen from the lyme eating up all your iron

First time I had lyme (10ish years misdiagnosed before correctly treating) my hair started falling out before I was correctly diagnosed / started abx. BUT I also have the MTHFR -C677T (don't process folic acid) ergo I wasn't getting enough vitamins. Struggled with that for a few years, but when I got into remission and got my vitamin levels back up my hair grew back pretty thick. I did notice that my hair seemed pretty dead feeling from all the harsh meds I had been on/low vitamins so I cut my waist length hair into a pixie cut. I do hair masks at least once a week but usually twice. It grew back slowly but thickly. Now I have relapsed I have noticed it has started falling out again. Found some stronger vitamins and that seems to have helped lessen the amount falling out and have started doing the hair masks again. As a girl I know hair loss can be devastating. I was really lucky to have found a new hairdresser who has helped to mask how thin it has gotten with some different styles and has told me what kind of products to use. I joked with my husband that I loved him to death but finding a good hairdresser was harder than finding a husband.
