Can you herx a month into a treatment? Feeling very bad :(

Hi!

I have been on the herbal Phytolymex (that my LLMD gave me) for the past month now. All of a sudden yesterday and today, I had a huge exacerbation of my symptoms - severe leg weakness (hard to walk), headaches, lightheadedness/spaciness, high uptick in my anxiety, and a feeling almost like I want to crawl out of my skin I also think I have a slight fever (normal temp is around 97.6 and right now it is 98.6).

Could the Lyme be progressing or could this be a herx? I don't feel like I've herxed before but I have the MTHFR mutation so perhaps things are taking longer to clear my system (I just started methylating with Vitamin B's today).

Any help or guidance from those more experienced would be appreciated - I feel like I'm going crazy!

What you described does sound like you're herxing.

Do you have a good detox regimen going?

I would go low and slow with the methylated B's.

Maybe stop the B's....since that was what you started when this happened?

I don't have any detox methods currently My LLMD didn't bring it up and I'm very new to Lyme, though I will research some right now!! I just read today that those are imperative to flushing out the infection, so I will be on them ASAP.

And I meant to say that I started the B's today, so maybe I'll wait for this to die down a little bit before I go on it again. Agh
