Hi and welcome back to our forum,
I'm sorry that your daughter is having these symptoms. You would be correct to make sure and have her evaluated by an llmd so she can get the proper treatment.
You can also get her tested at Igenix labs but you would need a md/np or llmd sign the order.
BlueLyme mentioned DNA connections , they dont require a md/np/llmd to sign off on the order.
You could also call a Buhner herbalist and consult with them if you want her to start an herbal treatment while you wait to get in at the llmd.
You can look for an llmd at
/www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/and also :
/www.lymedisease.org/You can also start a new post here"seeking an llmd in your area" That way members may have personal recommendations for some in your area.
One doesn't have to have a bulls-eye to have Lyme. If someone did have a bulls-eye then you just know for sure that you are infected with Lyme.
Ticks carry more than Lyme, they have other co infections that need to be treated also if she has them.
A good llmd can clinically diagnosis a person by their symptoms.
You need to do what you feel best for your daughter, if for your peace of mind while your waiting to go to llmd appointment you think you should go to urgent care, then I would go.
Make sure to tell them she has had ticks on her and been in an tick area. Explain her symptoms. Ask for the western blot test to be done.
Remember if they do that test you want to go by ilads not the CDC determination for if its Lyme or not.
Feel free to ask questions or reach out for support when needed here.
Not sure if they had The "New to Lyme" start here page when you were on in 2013.
Its a thread at the top of the page. It has good information on Lyme, testing, symptoms and more.
I wish you and your family the best and please take care.
