Any men out there with lyme that get pain in growin or bladder? Happened 3 times now, seems to be every 6 months or so. Feels like it could be a kidney stone or gallstone... but don't know. Cant hardly urinate for days and feels like im gonna pop... very painful and uncomfortable. Wondering if lyme is causing this??

I had an episode for about
a week back in June where I had urinary burning and bladder pain with urination. It was very painful and uncomfortable that it caused me to make a trip to the ER. Doctor checked for STDs, UTI, and prostatitis but didn't find anything. But sometimes he said there are undetected UTIs so prescribed me some cipro for a week (I know fluoroquinolone are dangerous but this was before I started treating for bart/babs)...and the urinary symptoms cleared within a couple days of starting cipro. So not sure yet if my urinary symptoms were related to my underlying infection (bart/babs) or it was an acute infection but a followup with a urologist suggested that it was due to my underlying condition.
Haven't had any issues down there since... it's been 4.5 months. So all this to say, I do believe lyme and co-infections can cause some pain/irritation down there.

I'm not a man, but I know bartonella, especially, can cause bladder issues.
Still, I would urge you to get checked by a doctor, especially to eliminate any prostate issues, regardless of your age.

I would also urge you to get checked out. Rule out kidney stones, uti, etc.
If that’s all good, then explore bart or mold. They both cause urinary issues. I am female and have flares of frequency and burning.
