Very interesting about Lyme Brain/Visual Processing

Hi all!

I have sooo many visual issues that I didn't realize were also related to my problems with cognitive processing. When I scrolled down to the bold section, It sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with. Has anyone else had this exact issue--just cognitive and visual? I rarely have any pain issues, just cognitive/visual. Thank you!

I have minor visual issues and some neurological pain. The visual issues were among the last to show up for me, it was months after everything else and after I'd started treating. They've improved with time, though, along with most everything else.

thanks for the link to that write-up about vision problems. It all sounds so familiar (the visual descriptors of disturbances, that list) it's so uncanny, I've felt all of those symptoms, sometimes very intensely.

I like that there is a biomarker for it, maybe one can add that to documentation for disability claims and getting insurance to pay for things.. (VEP) is it called or N-75 VEP...brainwaves and stuff.

That biomarker sounds very specific, like they have narrowed it down with scientific data! It seems like these places that have these more advanced tests or therapies, are few and far between, through my brain fog I can only think of a few, and some are in Europe. Pretty neat to maybe get prismatic lenses and fix the brain? Cool.
