As the wait is 5 months for an appointment I am wondering should my partner be making one now too. I don't want to get into a debate on transmission, just want personal experiences

From my experience , llmd’s dont just assume partners have active Lyme disease. Even if they did - it would be up to the patient to instigate treatment.
It’s your partners responsibility to make an appt and be tested and evaluated by a LLMD .

My husband was tested by my first LL dr but only after we made an appt with him.

My husband isn’t getting treatment yet...

My second LL dr hasn’t even asked about my husband.

Yes - if you’re wanting him to start treatment same time as you.
You could make an appt for him right away and have him test while waiting for the appt.

Yes, good idea.

This doctor seems to have to review your medical history before taking you on though. He's so busy he chooses who he wants to see.

Oh...a choosy LLMD.

Maybe that's how he keeps his successful treatment Stats up....lol.
