Low BUN/creatinine ratio

Anyone experienced this? Looks like it can indicate a liver issue.

I don't get my BUN tested...just GFR, Creatinine, and liver function tests.

What are your recent liver function tests looking like?

I'm not sure exactly what those are, but everything else in that section of the results is in the normal range.

What would this ratio be for if not liver function?

You should also be getting a couple of these liver function tests - monthly:
- AST
- AP
- ALT
- bilirubin

I have a standing monthly order for two of the above - I think it’s AST and ALT. I should also be getting bilirubin but it got dropped along the way... in error.

I did have some liver function tests out of range prior to doing bart treatment a few years ago - when I was on lyme only treatment.

They normalized within a couple months.

My reg dr told me not to worry - the liver can bounce back.

She is concerned about my kidneys tho.

I was thinking it is kidneys because I recently had gfr and creatinine out of range and those are kidney function tests.

Maybe it’s also for liver when you look at the bun too.

Ok, all of those other tests you listed are in the normal range. Good to hear that the liver can bounce back.

Was your gfr done (kidneys)?

It went back up into range this month. Low end, but better. Whew.

Girlie, I missed your last post. What is gfr?

Glomerular filtration rate - it's one of the more common tests to gauge kidney issues/disease.

get yourself some Tribulus terrestris, its absolutely perfect for this condition as shown here

astragalus, uva ursi, and milk thistle w/ phospholipids would also be excellent add ons.
