Have you bought actual broth, or bones? Making it up yourself is better - water, salt and some apple cider vinegar - but either is fine as long as the ingredients are pure. We make beef bone broth at home. Some people will drink it for breakfast or with meals, or you can make soup, sauces/gravies etc. The gelatinous the broth the better, as it suggests more of the goodness has been extracted from the bones. You shouldn't need to water it down. Heating it up makes it less thick, but if you're drinking it straight, it will take some getting used to.
