Thanks I figured so. Waiting for an appointment with my nutritionist. I have had symptoms since puberty maybe before can’t remember I’m 44. Think I may have got it from my mother. I am very worried I may have passed it to my children especially one son who has all the cfs symptoms I feel so guilty about this more than anything else. I can take it happening to me but not to them!
The problem I have is detox my body just cannot take it. I feel like I have woken the bug and it’s affecting me worse.
I have borderline adrenal insufficiency which I now know is probably being caused by this but the consequence is not enough cortisol to help with detoxing. I feel like I am stuck.
Unsure of trying the antibiotic route to just try and zap it then do all the herbal things to maintain it. Do t know anyone’s thoughts on this.
I have read the posts thank you.
Be good to have some positive feedback of people who have succeeded in this if not for myself but for my children’s.
Try not to feel guilty re: passing lyme on to your son. How could you know?
Sounds like you need to go low and slow with the detoxing. Maybe just start with one method...and see how you do. Possibly an epsom salt foot bath - instead of a full bath detox...might help.
Re: low cortisol...do you have a Dr. looking into that? Some people take low dose cortisone (not the doses that are used for autoimmune disease)
Starting with abx for awhile...and then transitioning to herbals is quite common actually. Many of our members have treated their infections that way.
