Alright lyme friends, I would really value anyone's input on these topics. I am most likely going to switch doctors. I have been on antibiotics for 2 years this January so I am looking for another method of treatment. I have an appointment set up with doc G kn Oshkosh WI. He uses UV light therapy to treat pathogens in the blood as far as I know. My question for you guys is.. does anyone have testamony in regards to doc G or being treated with UV light in general? I would really value feedback from this group. I can find reviews of doc G online but they are not all lyme specific so I want lymies input. Thanks in advance.

You may combine that with ten pass ozone which you can get in Fond du lac

Hi I am sorry you are in a lot of pain and you have not had progress.

UV Light is really bad for you. For something to work it needs a specific method of action, reproducible scientific evidence, and vetted by competent people who have learned discipline to check for biases. It is my opinion that UV light does not have a method of action against lyme, or if it does, it is a secondary response to your immune system trying to repair irreparable and life threatening damage to your skin. I would say it is an extreme risk reward ('you will die').

I would ask Girlie for advice regarding Dapazone (spelling) if you seeking an alternative protocol. Search the forum for her posts and experiences (mostly negative I might note) and videos about "Dr Horowitz"

As for full skin exposure to the skin, the uva at 380 nm does cause skin cancer. It doesn't cause melanoma's.

We use a fiber optic to bring the uvc (254 nm) under the tongue. This isn't full body exposure, but does irradiate the blood and any pathogens (bacteria, virus). Since the blood makes a circuit every 25-30 seconds, depending on health, you only expose about 3% of the blood every 30 seconds. This does cause a auto-immune response.

Finally there is a secondary effect from the uv. In the "bible" of ultraviolet blood irradiation (Into the light) Dr. Douglass mentions taking blood which had been irradiated and placing the curet on a uv film and getting it fogged, a secondary effect.

You will also discover that most of the soft tissue cancer is "probably" caused by the SV40 virus. I suspect this is the cause of HIV. Suggest you read the book Dr. Mary's Monkey.
Goes into the polio vaccine of the 50's - 60's which was given to 100 million children. Then the bad vaccine was sent to third world nations when it was no longer being used in the US.

Out of curiosity, do you really think a company which is getting $40 grand per (Chemo) treatment or $50 per antibiotic pill is going to endorse a device which cures different diseases at the cost of 2 cents of electric power?

To touch on what light can do check out HEV light. This is the blue light which our computers, tv's, and cell phones emit. This is probably going to cause blindness in the near future as it destroys the cells in the eyes.

I thought the UV light therapy for lyme was treating the blood...not the skin? If so, then how can it cause skin cancer Oregonhay?

I am taking Dapsone and Daraprim. I'm on my fourth cycle (each cycle is 4 weeks).

I had a really bad reaction on cycle 2....but since then, the last three cycles have been progressively better (less herxing/side effects) ...and my baseline has improved.
The week I take the Dapsone/Daraprim is the worst of the 4 weeks.

I'm finally optimistic that I will beat this down...and get to remission.... fingers crossed.

Yes to the best of my knowledge the UVb light is only exposed to my blood...my skin should not be exposed to it.

It is not up to me to prove that something is not safe.

It is up to the person who claims it is safe to prove that it is safe.

This is a principle in medical ethics called Precautionary Principle

I actually don't care what anyone does. I simply point out that it is dangerous and go on with my day, because I feel if I didn't I would be judged by God by not doing so.

You have the prove that it is safe first before I could consider it anyway.
