I'm okay with being in the minority. I'm old enough to have questioned other things and have been in the minority - only to have the pendulum change in time. Fluoride, mercury light bulbs, etc - I didn't jump on these bandwagons (very minority opinion on those back in the day), and now increasingly more people avoid these over time (I'm not as much in the minority like previously).
Not enough data out there for me to see that xylitol is safe for my family to use, so I avoid it where I can. Having said that, I did try one toothpaste with xylitol once, but it was sourced from birch (not corn) and thus was not gmo.
I also wasn’t on board with fluoride and didn’t allow my son to have his teeth treated with it.
I think it’s been debated long enough here and we really should get back on topic and the OP’s question - re: Is xylitol causing diarrhea. (Not is it toxic or not)
