Charlie - You’re being rude and disrespectful.
I believe Sebreg is (or was) a patient of Dr H.
How, all I said is you know that for a fact? I come on go on this forum on a weekly basis, I can't remember who sees what particular Lyme Doctor like you because you're a moderator.
I'm just asking on my own behalf because I'm interested if Dr. H recommends the overpriced Nutramedix brand of Stevia, while the Sweat Leaf brand only costs $10 a tincture and it's 1 oz more than the Nutramedix. I'd be surprised since Dr. H basis a lot of his work on supplements Dr. S uses, which the study was based on the Sweat Leaf brand.
There's numerous occasions where I've seen Lyme patients recommend certain types and brands, while there's much affordable and more concentrated options out there. Plus plenty of patients that took the granulated form, then thought Stevia didn't work for them. What type of supplement and brand you take is very important, just as it is with CBD oil. I'm not trolling for an argument here Girlie...
Anyone who comes on this forum would probably want to choose the cheaper option that gives you more in the bottle.

I just looked up the liposomal oil of oregano from Hopkinton. Very expensive - $93 for a 30 day supply. Also noticed it contains alpha lipoic acid (ALA), but they don’t indicate how much ALA is in it. That could be potentially problematic for those with amalgams, mercury toxicity, or are actively chelating.
And again, this goes back to what WalkingbyFaith mentioned, $93 for 30 days... Just like other lyme patients, I can't keep up with Nutramedix prices nor what that other company Hopkinton charges for oregano oil. It's absolutely ridiculous and it's absolutely ridiculous if Dr. H is recommending patients buy the Nutramedix brand or this other one, when NOW essential oils oregano oil or Sweat Leaf Wholeleaf Stevia will work just as well if not better. I know there's a toxicity safety to essential oils, but if you buy a good pure brand and dilute it properly you'll be just fine.
It's kind of sad that some LLMDs always recommend top high priced hyped brands, not considering that many Lyme patients don't have deep pockets. Even if you're taking these new persister cell drugs, I'd still prepare to being in treatment for a long time, so don't go and blow big money on overpriced supplements when other brands have them for much much much cheaper.
What if Dr. H recommends a couple or multiple brands of Stevia Girlie and sebreg just chose the Nutramedix brand himself because of all the hype surrounding that brand on the blogs and forums, I'd be interesting in knowing that... I suspect Dr. H doesn't sell these supplements in his office and leaves it up to the patient to buy them...
