paresthesia Herx anyone?

Hi all,

I am getting discouraged I am 5 1/2 months in and parenthesia is now my worst symptom. Do any of you have increased paresthesia like a herx? I was hoping my symptoms would subside sad

I hate the nerve symptoms...

So can you describe what you experience?
Numbness / tingling in your fingers.... or?

When I herx/flare my nerve issues ramp up - shivering, nerve pain, confusion...

Hang in there, early on in treatment dome of my symptoms improved a bit but I also had new ones appear and sometimes hercing and intendidty of symptoms was rough especially neuro ones. Are you taking any of the suggestions for neuro symptoms that Buhner has suggested?
in the long run,I believe Uncaria rynchopylla, Bailkal skullcap and red sage and tryptophan helped me.

Hi Girlie, I get nerve symptoms like full body on my neck legs arms sometimes they feel like a small light pin prick , other times like a cold spots. mostly in the feet, arms and neck. Hi Gashawk I guess this is still early on in treatment, I have been taking the Japansese knot weed from Buhner.

I had those symptoms also and the cold sensation felt very neuro at the skin level.
I had a strange sensation especially when herxing that felt very tender and like a neuro tingling across my torso, buttocks and back of legs. But right at the skins surface if that makes sense.

I can tell you that with continued treatment this has gone away for me. I hope you get some relief soon.

I get that when I herx as well, at night. Be glad it's not the dreaded akathisia! That makes you wanna kill yourself. I don't know what to attribute it to other than overexcited neurons firing or excess glutamate/histamine, or a combo of both.
