What are your thoughts?

Has anyone here researched this?

A 'friend' on facebook posted an article on Australia enabling 5G in all major cities. Her comment was that it will be a health disaster.

Since I've had lyme, I tend to freak out easily about health stuff...

Finally had a mammogram - long overdue...stupid really...but am so done with procedures....tests....imaging...etc.
Now I'm worrying about the smart meter and the microwave again.... (not funny)

I'll start by saying I have no idea if there's a real concern or not.

That said, technology has advanced so rapidly over the past 50 years, that I'm not sure we can really know what the long-term consequences of all this compounded technology will be, until much later. That's assuming that some group or agency is tracking all the relevant data and then are able to make associations. Even then, associations don't prove causation.

Here's my proposal:

In an effort to ensure the safety of 5G, we need human trials. I volunteer all the top executives, board members, and scientific, regulatory, or governmental personnel that either design, manufacture, sell, resell, distribute, validate, endorse, support, or approve any 5G-related equipment and associated hardware, software, or service. This includes spouses and children of the aforementioned groups. The 5G antennae shall be placed in every room of each selectee's residence. Shielding shall also be installed inside of each residence, sufficient to prevent transmission into surrounding dwellings. The experiment shall run for a period of no less than ten years. During the experiment, comprehensive testing shall be performed on the selectees every two weeks and include a variety of objective and subjective health markers, including physical, mental, and emotional health.

Then, we wait for the results to be published.

But, the results will probably be fine, given all the testing that's been conducted. I mean, after all, when have corporations or government agencies ever been found guilty of any wrongdoing?

Of course, there are probably many thousands of resources on the Internet, related to 5G. But, my neighbor follows this stuff somewhat. We're both working to "Opt-Out" of the Smart Meters that are scheduled to be installed in our area.

If 5G is harmful, unless I move to the NRQZ in Green Bank, WV, there doesn't appear to be much that I can do about it, anyway.

So, this is fine.

I could easily give up my microwave but my husband - not so sure... I’m not a coffee drinker but I do see him reheating his.

We don’t live in a large city and are a 15 minute drive from the small city...

But we do have a smart meter. I was holding out for quite awhile but “they” wore me down and in a weak moment, I caved.

Would this even work for protection or just a money grab?

I cant believe they just do this without long term studies on all life form.

They dont care about people, no dont fool yourself , they actually don't. Their view is pretty straight forward : we need to thin the human population on this big rock, so dead people dont matter.

What will this do to the pollinators needed for plant/food reproduction? And other animals on the planet?

Im in no hurry to have WiFi in my house. And I dont sleep by my cell phone.

okay - seriously this just happened.

Hubby went to work before I got out of bed. (typical)

So, I come downstairs and there's a note on the kitchen counter next to a remote.
the note says : press the 'on' button.

Then: #1 is the large xmas tree. #3 is the small xmas tree. #2 isn't used yet.

Gotta say - he's got good timing....

Worrying about microwave kitchen ovens is , just excess pointless worry.

Plain English: It cooks by heat rather than changing molecules. This is because of machine and design limitations. If you rigged a M/W oven to work with the door open, nearby objects would get warm slowly the closer they are, just like a regular gas oven or wood stove. MW "retention" in a MW oven with the door shut will make enough friction to cook by penetrating deeper (its bouncing off the oven interior walls), this makes up for the low wattage (low power). Watt measurement is power measurement. Power is the ability to push into some form of resistance or penetrable object, or pressure required.

Microwave ovens are non-ionizing-

If a person lives in an apartment or has a neighboring house(s) that also have Smart Meters, then I'm not sure that shielding one's own meter is worthwhile. In the comments section from one of the above articles, a person remarked there are 12 Smart Meters on the wall outside the apartment below him.

One thing that irritates me most in life is not having any choice in matters that affect me. Whether it's Smart Meters, 5G technology, or any other number of things, it stinks when a person has something forced upon them -- especially when that thing may have health implications.

Perhaps I would feel a bit more at ease about some things, if there were 100% consensus on the safety of whatever is being forced upon me. However, even then, people should have a choice to "Opt-Out" of things that encroach on their lives. I guess this is why some people move to the NRQZ or to some off-grid cabin in the middle of nowhere.

Confused- What is your "smart meter" that you what protection from. Or is this some safety meter measuring RF for the family?

Im attracted to low tech but have worked with stuff talked about here (science lab), still no expert or geek on it though. What I do know from lab experience: Perforated hole metal shielding shown in your link can control RF waves while still allowing some penetration. The only way to stop RF is a metal cover without perforated holes. It will still emit through whatever side is NOT covered. Its no different than a water strainer subject to very high pressure water. RF does not flow or dribble, lt projects outward from the source, can bounce but not "corner" on its own.

Oh these smart meters. I dont have this yet, still have the meter man who drives around.

Cartoon above. "Amist all the Jetsons like cartoon style", at 2:54 in cartoon above "which are recognized by the World health organization as a class 2B carcinogen". They make fun out of it LOL. ***?????

The Jetsons was my fav cartoon but I dont take this smart meter stuff lightly.

[Side note to youngsters here, the Jetsons and Flintstones were the first after dinner evening cartoons on broadcast TV, way before the Simpsons. I remembering reading about the 'safe' distance. And ours' is borderline being too close to our bedroom wall...
But we're on a corner lot and the one neighbor's house borders on the side of the house we're rarely in (Dining room/living room) I believe the neighbours across the street are a safe distance.

The old meters were read manually....

There are concerns about the radiation that are emitted.

-Ya I got thats what your talking about after reading a few more comments. (I'm slower than usual on extended Saturday holidays).

Does anyone offer a home use RF meter to read whats bouncing around your home or outside? Industry has it, I imaging amazon has something there for reading this amount of RF in a home or yard.

I hate cities, this is just more reason too never move into one.

If I were younger with a low mileage body, didnt need close Drs, Id say F' it and do the off grid thing right now. What I do like about civilization is the growing availability/popularity of stores with foods that fit my messed up gut.

No problem getting a king's throne like Apocalypse Now. That's much more appropriate than the "throne" Archie Bunker had upstairs in his house.

I love the smell of essential oils in the morning. It smells like...victory.

- Na....Jones didnt think that through to good. "Offing" his faithful followers........he could of had it made and lived like a king for a while longer.

We'd need from some good members to tend the gardens and animals ect. I like building things (i'll make the perimeter wall if needed to keep the tax man out) but gardening is a whole different deal.

So the latest information, is that some cell phones were giving off more radiation than the FDA regulations they were supposed to meet. And now, there is a major lawsuit building up against Apple with the iPhone, maybe Samsung and others as well.

My personal opinion, don't keep your cell phone on your body for long periods of time. Turn it off when you sleep or keep it long distances away from you when you sleep. I've heard and seen many people that keep their cell phone on their desk right next to wear they lay their head down to sleep. This was even said by a local Doctor in my home state of Michigan

I think there might of been another 5g thread floating around that you made Girlie, but I decided to just add to this one. Definitely important to have a concern over 5g and just cell phone radiation in general after seeing these findings, yikes!
