I know we don't often get encouraging posts here, so I wanted to post about a new development in my healing: My twitching has subsided a TON!
This was my most worrisome symptom. It would distract me, keep me up at night, and it was the symptom that sent me to a doctor when this whole ordeal started.
I hardly noticed any twitching today, and when I did, it was in big muscles: my butt, back, and hamstrings. Could be related to working out today, too. And it only happened a few times.
I dare not say they are completely gone, but if these stuck around, I'd be okay with it. They don't affect my quality of life like before. (Though other symptoms of mine do...)
Does this mean I'm cured? Absolutely not. But it means I'm on the right track with my treatment!
For the curious, my treatment has been babs-focused. I found my bite in mid-August. Started getting the twitching in October. Doxy did nothing, but not my combo of clarithro, mepron, plaquenil seems to be working! I'm also taking tumeric, B12, B6, omega 12, zinc, calcium, and detoxing like a crazy person.
For those wondering, magnesium didn't work for me. I tried Mg chelate before bed and even the magnesium creams. I really think it's my treatment and my body healing.
