I hope this is normal bc I don’t have a cough but I have been spitting up dark yellow phlegm with like blood clots first thing in the morning. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes. It has happened to me regularly even before I got sick. It would mostly occur after I would start getting over a normal cold/flu...or if it's too dry while I sleep. Do you sleep with a humidifier on?

I haven’t had a cold in forever but I am always spitting up yellow bloody junk. Hmm no I don’t. It’s humid here so didn’t think I needed one lol. It’s worth a try though.

Bartonella.
I didn't know I had bartonella until this happened. It destroys the red blood cells and the residue ended up in my snot.

Thankyou Quin! That’s what I was wondering if it could be a coinfection symptom.

How much blood is in your mucous? If it's just a couple streaks of blood than it could just be dryness but if it's a significant amount then perhaps something else.

It’s like thick streaks. A lot more than just tinged.

My first thought was I got babesia, but it turned out to be bartonella.
Look at the pics I posted in the other thread.
