Treatment after floxed

I started today 2 gr of amoxi every 8 hours. I had to stop cefixime because i had nausea... it's not a problem with amoxi, at least for now... Later i'll add rifampicin and see what happens. I would like to do: Amoxi/Rifampin/azitro but after being floxed if i take a macrolide i have frecuent urination and severe headache (only with roxi, azitro and biaxin).

For relapses or returning of floxing symptoms i have a theory but i don't know... an autoinmune reaction (it can be) or a herxing that can overlape with previous fluoroquinolone damage and it hurts more.... if it's the second theory... it would be a bad idea to stop abx every time it hurts because it means more load of damage... so with lesa spirochete load in my lligaments, maybe it will pass... If it's an autoinmune reaction that activares every time i took abx... bad idea continue treatment because it will be more severe every round of abx.

The problem is that minocin was the abx that i took with moxifloxacin and if i took it i experience the same flox symptoms.... It feels like if my body had memory of the poisoning day and it want to destroy all what i took this day

I'm the most unlucky person of the world... A BIG BIG rashes started to appear in my back... symptoms of flu.... fever... and maybe it's a DRESS syndrome.

OriolCarol - I’ve had several different rashes while treating.... and they generally cleared up with continued use of the abx.


The only time I was concerned was when I took the bactrim and I had what I’d call lesions pop up. They looked like some of the pictures when you look up the SJS rashes.

Then I was too freaked out to continue taking it.

I did give it a try again later on and same thing happened.
So that was it for me.

It’s really difficult - deciding whether or not to continue the med when rashes occur.
