There should be some basic food that is tolerable. It will be whole food, home cooked as basic as possible. The only way to do this is eat one thing at a time, not meals, and after everything else is out of you. I went the extra step and did that food lab test I always mention. (170 "American" whole food items) it cleared some foggy air (pun intended).
Basic tender chicken and a boring cooked low fodmap veggie usually is and should be tolerable even with candida and sibo - if all the digestive organs are physically functioning properly. I almost lived on that for a month. Breakfast was a banana, rice cakes and water. No coffee ever with a bad gut. Or sugar drinks.
Many people who cant tolerate anything have something in common- gut flora thats all wrong. Wrong type and or wrong place in the gut.
Fasting is one quick possible way to reset gut flora. Doesn't need to be long. Some websites have mentioned this:
https://drjockers.com/leaky-gut-protocol/You cant trust restaurants. If they dont know what they cook, leave. I asked for a gluten free salad- "oh sure'!. It was the same as everyone else's but they hand picked most of the huge breaded croutons off. Most, not all. It should have been assembled from scratch. If I were celiac, this would could have been bad. It wont kill me, but it does and was killing my thyroid. Got no tip from me, nope, nada. I told the shift manager on my way out. A six year old can make a new salad.
