Has anyone had any experience with Dr. K, ND in Guilford, CT?

i actually see him....he uses herbs and some machine to tell you what herbs will work for you...not sure if i buy it or not, but he seems to be relatively accurate...uses mixes of buhner,cowden,beyond balance,byron white, desbios, etc....a caring doctor..takes my insurance which is key..there is another np in the practice who uses rife....i seem to get more out of that than the herbs....

Thank you for your reply and input. I just started seeing him quite recently and you and I seem to be on the same page. I appreciate that he takes insurance, I am not sure about the machine either and I am not a candidate for the Rife machine at this point in my treatment. Happy to hear it is of some help to you and that you find his findings accurate. I have never responded very well to herbs and am struggling with his protocol but again, I just started with him and need to give it time. And I like him. He is caring and encouraging. I need both!!

I have another question for you. As I noted in my initial post, I recently started to see Dr. K. At my initial visit, he used the VEGA machine to determine my toxicity. ( I went to him for help with detox). I shared my most recent lab work with him from my new LLMD at that visit. I have seen him twice since and at those visits, his VEGA findings not only showed a total toxicity number (that dropped 1 point at each apt.) but it also noted several co-infections, viruses, yeast, heavy metals. I have now walked away wondering why he did not run his own labs to substantiate this evidence as I have been at this a very long time and no one has ever found the co-infections his machine indicated was present and LLMD or LLND, they have always run their own labs. My question to you is this, had I not walked in with recent extensive lab work, would he have run labs? I am just curious as I am not sure I can totally buy into this VEGA evidence and this has brought all new concerns to my plate. I shared his findings with my LLMD and he had nothing to say. Thank you for any thoughts.

sorry, just saw your post....yea you kinda gotta suspend common sense to go with the machine....he only did blood work the first time i saw him, and it wasnt for tick borne stuff....that print out with what you "have"...everyone seems to always have them all listed....i see him tomorrow....i wish i could tell you i have 100% trust- i dont, but what are alternatives? he has me on sida, houttunia, biocidin, some other stuff....ugggg

thanks for your reply. I kind of thought that may be the case. I have suspended his treatment after having a hard time and getting about a 15 second phone call from him telling me to call back in a few days. He seemed to miss the point that I was not going to continue his protocol with the way I was feeling. I got the flu right after that and just left the house this week for the first time in two weeks. Have some health issues aside from Lyme that have my attention right now and I have yet to call him back. I will do so before the end of the week out of courtesy but need to put things on hold for the time being with him. I hope you had a good apt with him today. Does he do the VEGA at each apt? and just out of curiosity, does your toxicity level drop with each visit??

yes he does the vega each appt....my toxicity was alot higher last time i saw him, as i did all his herbs in addition to rife and felt alot worse...so last month he just had me do a bunch of herbal detox things...so yesterday he tells me that me toxicity is down a bunch ( i think it was 14- it was 18 the time before that)...and when you do rife, they do an asyra scan to get frequencies and they tell you what youre bug loads are...my problem is supposedly bart and virus...the frequencies DO WORK....im herxing right now...they dont find any lyme last few months...i really dont know sometimes, but i am in treading water phase to see if i can get any improvements with the herbs (id be taking sida houttunia etc even if i wasnt seeing him)...hope you feel better
