Hi all,

I am new to the forum. smile
I have all the symptoms of lyme and I am currently checking for a LLMD.

I wonder if someone have experience with the herb Cat's Claw?
When I take Cat's Claw I feel much better on the next day. But after 2 days I feel much worse then before! Probably die-off/herx?

Does someone have this as well (first feeling better and then much worse)?

I have taken cat's claw for several months now. Initially I had really bad reactions from it. But now I feel like it does more supporting than killing. It's a good one for overall immune support.

Cats claw is part of Master Herbslist S. Buhner’s lyme protocol and is well known on this forum.

Yes, it could be that you’re building up toxins by day 2 and that is causing the herx.

Are you employing several detoxing methods?

Yep, makes sense to feel worse from herxing. That means the cat's claw is treating your infections successfully! Isn't it bizarre to try to be happy about feeling worse? My advice is to go very slowly with the cat's claw. I always start with tinctures so that I can start with only one drop of a new herb and work my way up to a full dose over the course of a few weeks or sometimes longer. Cat's claw is good stuff.
