Anyone want to contribute to a thread where we share gratitudes?
Gratitude has been a literal life saver during all the lows, deep dark moments, meh days, better days, and accepting the constant changes in my body in these early stsges of the limitted treatments i can afford right now.
So I'll start.
In these mid night hours I am grateful...
-for a forum to interact with and re assure myself that I'm not a crazed lunatic like some people in my life believe...that I have legitimate physical ailments and I am grateful for this knowledge
-for my heating pad and castor oil I'm about
to apply to my belly
-for the movie dances with wolves that I'm watching in 30 minute segments recently. It's encouraging me to reach for my dreams and to have fun. Aiming to thrive in light of this chronic survival mode I'm in.
-that rest doesnt only equal sleep. I can practice meditation and self hypnosis and find a tranquil state that will support my body's healing even if I do not aquire any more sleep tonight.
❤
Well, that's all for now.
Sweet dreams to all those in the Western Hemisphere.
Good morning to those who are just now reading this as they start their day.
May we embrace the sweetness of this life and find hope amidst all the despairs we are facing with Chronic Lyme.
Peace and love,
