so herbalists use ratio to decribe strength of tincture. rose mountain says All tinctures are extracts, but not all extracts are tinctures! Alcohol must be the solvent used to extract . anything else is a extraction. so sorry about typo so my understanding is muddy at best but a1:4 ratio is 1 part dryed or fresh herbs to 4 parts liquid , how much what type of alcohol ,macerated or not distilled type heat and time, or reduction is up to the maker. so tinctures like intracel and byron white claim a 90:1 . i think hh2 is refined a bit hepapro may know.
