Girlie,
How are you feeling now? Do you still have symptoms or did they mostly resolve?
Also, do you know why rifabutin is stronger than rifampin?
Thanks!
Since going to the J clinic I have improved some - after being at a standstill for over a year with my previous lyme doc.
I still have a few almost daily symptoms and a few that I get now and then - like maybe once a week or two for a day
My daily ones:
1) Internal Shivering - this has improved in the past couple weeks - fingers crossed it’s on it’s way out
2)Nerve pain upper left side of back (shoulder blade area),left arm and hand.
3) some head pressure - but greatly reduced compared to a year ago
4) memory gaps here and there - better than it used to be though
5) my feet are sometimes sore in the morning when I get out of bed.
I’d have to check my list - may be a couple more minimal symptoms.
The nerve pain is the very first symptom I had back in 2013.
Maybe first one is last to go...
No I don’t know why Rifabutin is stronger - I guess it’s just different.
I would definitely give it a try -That's great that you're doing so much better Girlie! Wow! The shivers are a weird one. I have something somewhat similar in these weird surges I get. It almost feels like I'm on a roller coaster going up and flying down! This is a somewhat new symptom for me after years of treating so it led my doc to put me on iv.
