Hi friends!

My HH-2 is being hold at customs.... i have to start to take something to hit bart. Today i took 150 mg of rifabutin.. For now i don't have kidney pain but we will see tomorrow at 300 mg... I'm worried sad

I'll took it every 12 hours to tolerante better... Every ti.e i took rifabutin my WC count is to loow is it normal?

I have to pray that my liver enzymes won't be affected... last time on rifampin at 900mg i had to stop it because AST GOT were too high!

I think i'll die. I have this feeling every moment at day... i feel like my heart will stop to beat... or a heart attack... It's a torture sad

Hello - welcome back - it’s been awhile!
Have you taken Rifabutin before? Or just Rifampin ?
You should be taking a 2nd antibiotic with it.

You doing 150 twice daily, right?

That’s how I take it 150 twice.
Well not quite 12

I take it 8:00 am and 6:00 pm generally

Have you been feeling this continously? I know a few months back you were having trouble.

Yes Girlie, 300 at total. Well... I feel chest pain and i think it's my heart but at ER they say all is fine.... sad

I hope rifabutin will work for Bart but this heart or chest pain is making me crazy... at every moment...

I don't know but i think i have some bart resistant to rifabutin that have become predominant.

Sounds like treatment is really rough on you!

Are there types of treatment that your body has handled better? Does your treatment practitioner have a plan in place that supports your kidneys and liver? What do Lyme-literate folks think about the chest pain - costochondritis, POTS, lung irritation from infections? Have you had an echocardiogram to check on your heart?

Sorry for all the questions at once. smile I hope that these next steps go smoothly for you, and I'm glad that you posted. Too many of us know what it's like to be worried about dying all the time. It's immensely stressful and demoralizing. Wishing you the best.

My echo is normal, but i don't know if one can have endocarditis with normal echo. I only have little mitral insuficiency, but they say it's normal up to 80% population

I'm afraid because if rifabutin is resistant... i don't have other alternative.

I'm glad to hear your echo is normal. My understanding is that echos are fairly reliable and would be able to detect endocarditis.

I don't know what you have tried already, and it's important that you be comfortable with your treatment options, but some people are able to recover using herbs, homeopathy, rife, ozone, homeopathy, biophoton light therapy, and other types of treatment. Are those options for you? I know it can be daunting to think about changing modalities, and of course everyone responds differently to different things!

Have you pulsed it with other antibiotics at the same time?

Yes Girlie, with minocycline. Sometimes with cephalosporin...

Today i've recived hh-2, i'll add it to my abx 2 capsules three times per day.

I had severe anxiety and panic attack after take 4 HH-2 pills. Is it normal?

I’ve read the HH-2 pills are very strong - so herxing can happen- anxiety could certainly be part of that.

How soon after? If you’re talking 10 minutes - I doubt it - do you mean awhile after taking it?

I take 6 pills per day that would be 12 normal HH pills, if i’m not wrong

i have flu like symptoms now... but my granulomas are disapearing.... could i feel toxic because toxins of granulomas enter to blood stream and bartonella pyrogens?

Fever and flu like symptoms is a pretty typical bart herx.

How do you know your granulomas are disappearing? Or do you just assume that due to the toxins being released?

they are weaker... for example the granuloma inside of my tongue is partially dissolved... before treatment it was hard and now i can push it with my teeth and feels weaker.

But the most interesting thinkis that i started to feel it after adding HH-2.... after taking this stuff i feel toxic!
