Anyone knows what's the molecular size of HH? Less or more than 500 daltons? Thank you! It's important to know it if we want to adress the neurologicall symptoms.
Houttuynia extract contains many things. It's not entirely clear what the active ingredients are. One possibility is decanoyl acetaldehyde. The molecular weight of decanoyl acetaldehyde is 198.3.
The size of the molecule is one factor in how well it crosses the blood-brain barrier, but not the only one.
The molecular weights of some common medications are:
valproate 144.211
metronidazole 171.156
tinidazole 247.273
dapsone 248.302
pyrimethamine 248.71
sulfamethoxazole 253.279
trimethoprim 290.32
disulfiram 296.52
amoxicillin 365.40
cefdinir 395.416
doxycycline 444.43
minocycline 457.483
clarithromycin 747.953
azithromycin 748.984
rifampin 822.94
rifabutin 847.005

Another question; What's the reason of herx rashes on Bart treatment? If we decreased the amount of bacteria... So pyrogens can ellicit an inmune response (dead bacteria fragments), but why dead bacteria fragments create more inflamation than alive bacteria?
My guess is that live bacteria have ways of actively evading the immune system, and dead bacteria can't.
