Check out HPA axis dysfunction to see if you think it applies to you. Lyme and co-infections can throw all of your hormones out of balance. My understanding is that you won't really correct any of the effects unless you address the whole HPA axis. This can involve comprehensive hormone testing (full thyroid, DHEAs, testosterone, pregnenelone, cortisol, estrogen, etc.) and supplementing with bioidentical hormones or herbs (mainly adaptogens), and the basics become extra important - you have to sleep, you have to move, you have to chill, you have to eat well. Supplementing one of the out-of-whack hormones might not help if your whole HPA axis is imbalanced, as Lyme so often achieves. Good luck!
