Best peptide therapy for lyme?

Does anyone know? I have lyme and autoimmune issues so I'm looking for a peptide that helps with chronic inflammation and regulating the immune system. My LLMD recommended LGD 4033, Thymosin Alpha 1, and BPC 157 but he said I can try any of them.

Thymosin A1 is probably the best to balance your immune system. BPC157 is great for tendon and GI repair. Never heard of the third. I am taking TA1 and BPC.

Yes. Although I have only been on for a little longer than 1 month. Joint pain is greatly reduced, immume system seems to be incredibly strong now. I've also been taking LL37 (antimicrobial peptide) and my herx reactions while on antibiotics were out of this world. Strongest I've had in a while.

I see, thanks! And sorry quick follow up question, I believe you mentioned in another post you have tried IV Daptomycin at some point. Did it work? I am curious because I came across this study saying it worked pretty well:

I asked my LLMD about it but they weren't too keen on using it since it's kind of a hassle to go the IV route and all that jazz. Did you notice good results with it?

Honestly I didn't notice much with daptomycin. I wasn't on the studied combo with ceftin, doxycycline, and daptomycin though. I was on primaxin, pulsed zithromax, daptomycin, dapsone, pulsed rifampin. Best combo I did as far as herxing goes was dapsone, zith, and rifampin.

I would look into disulfiram if I was you. Results seem to be better with that than daptomycin.

Sheekster, what was like the herx reaction for you while on LL37? I had some burning pain that lasted hours at the site of the injection and I’m trying to find out if that’s normal. Thanks!!!!

I have been on BOC, Thy Alpha and Thy Beta for the last 6 weeks and LL-37 for about 3 weeks.

I felt no real difference with the first 3 but the LL-37 is kicking my butt. I have moderate to severe joint pain moving skill over my body. As soon as I reached max does it’s been pretty consistent. I guess it’s a bit of a good herx but I didn’t know. I was actually shocked that I could feel such a change because frankly I was starting to think the peptides were just a waste of money. I still don’t know about the first 3 because there is no real way to quantify their effects. But the LL-37 is no joke.

LL-37 is the antimicrobial one that a lot of lymies use.

BPC is supposedly great for gut health. Dont inject it, just spray the syringe into your mouth. I have some BPC here I've been meaning to start. From my research its the one that actually seems to work, and work quickly. For a lot of peptides i feel like there's all this hype and then people seem to report htey feel nothing. BPC is the one i keep hearig actually helps. TA-1 is supposedly great for the immune system, yet most people i talk to dont seem to feel anything, or they feel worse.

The neutropics and peptides group on FB is the place to go to discuss that, you got some guys who love to experiment w/ peptides on there.

So I appreciate the discussion of drumming up a herx with ll-37 but is there benefit on the other side? Meaning is there any appreciable benefit or gain that is sustained Or do they just speed up their replication and you're right back where you started 60 days later?

@brandiwine - that’s exactly what I’m hoping to find out. I’ve been on it for about 5-6 weeks. Still feeling a lot of joint pain flare up and some headaches. I’m waiting on my SOT to come back from Greece. Not sure how long I will continue LL-37 after that. But I have the same question as you. I am concerned it’s like taking a mild antibiotic so it’s not going to have a knockout punch.

Rainy, check out the “project biohacked (peptide therapies anti aging and nootropics)” group on fb and search for ll-37. Just read a couple, sounds pretty promising one girl claims it significantly reduced her ebv/Candida symtoms to near gone.

I had considered this one a while ago, maybe worth considering again. Have to read more experiences tho

Hey dcd, I was hoping you would chime in. I'm going to check that out for sure, thank you so much. I spent some time reading about it last night and what's interesting to me is how it supposed to break down biofilm in addition to being antimicrobial. I knew a little about it being antimicrobial but I did not expect to find so much information about it's effects on biofilms. If you type in the search term "LL-37 biofilms" in your favorite search engine, you can see all the studies. It's really interesting stuff.

Sweet will check that out!! Thanks rainy, very interesting stuff, and def something we need to explore. Need to research this, but the idea is being on a peptide over an antibiotic sits better with me. Will check out those studies
