I got it from bartonella. It wasn't profuse bleeding, just that my snot would turn reddish brown as the bacteria burst the red blood cells.

I’ve only heard of it happening from toxic mold. I don’t think I have seen it mentioned from infections before.

iron levels? slow clotting is actually low platlets ...theyre made in the marrow if i remember.::also idk if the emotional root would help but when i was a angry youngster with bart they were pretty frequent

Many herbs thin the blood, including the standard Buhner borrelia protocol, which causes more nosebleeds and easy bruising. The other things people have mentioned could be involved as well, but many herbs thin the blood, so it's worth checking the side effects of each one to see if your child could switch herbs and supplements or lower doses. I had issues with bleeding while on the Buhner protocol but have not had bleeding issues from the infections alone, as far as I can tell. Good luck figuring it out!
