Hi AeronM and welcome!
Good for you for following Dr. Rau's protocol (I am familiar with him because I used Dr. Jernigan's protocol who studied with Dr. Rau).
I have been healed for over 13 years now so yes, people do heal and stay healed (I know many and they didn't use antibiotics). As far as getting lyme twice I guess it's possible if your immune system is not strong. One year after I healed I found an attached tick but I didn't get sick (no symptoms whatsoever). I attribute that to my immune system which I worked hard to become strong by constant detoxing (dry skin brushing, detox baths, internal cleansing, coffee enema's, etc.). I still continue to take detox baths for many reasons as well as watching my diet and being aware of my stress levels.
Anyway, there is a product (I personally never used it and forgot about
it until I saw your post) called Protective Shield Lotion which is all natural. I think I will order it for myself since I also enjoy being outdoors and gardening.
You can read about
it below:
https://www.spectrumsupplements.com/supplement/protection-shield-lotion-4-fl-oz-bottle/As far as always have lyme bacteria in one's body I believe the answer is yes based on my research. I listened to some podcasts in which Dr. David Jernigan was a guest on Lyme Light Radio (hosted by Katina Makris) and they both said they tested positive for lyme but did NOT have lyme "disease".
Hope this helps,
Denise
