Hello, peeps!

Can anyone recommend an infrared sauna that is portable, foldable, etc.? Do the cape-like ones or tube-like ones work as well as the little wooden rooms? (Clearly I don't know the proper terminology.) I am not willing to make my partner take off work and haul me to a spa that offers nice saunas because I know at this point I won't be able to handle more than a few minutes, to start. Could one of the capes be sufficient, to start? What are the downsides and risks? Please tell me specific brands and models. (I did look at past threads and brands mentioned don't seem to be made anymore, which seems like a bad sign....)

I would love to have a wooden sauna but I have no place to put one but my uninsulated garage and I've read that is not a good place for one. I worry about EMF's and off gassing of the portables but I tried to buy the best one about 3.5 years ago that I could find at the time. It is by Therasage. They make claims that I hope are true.

When I purchased mine it was about $450 and now they have doubled in price.

It works even though I have a hard time sweating. I let it warm up first before getting in. Hopefully, someone else will know of a cheaper safe one.

this guy did bunch of reviews to see what the EMF actually is of the saunas.

If you're on a budget looking for a portable one he says this one is pretty decent.
