Balloon like vein popping up

I looked through the vein issues for Lyme but could not find mine. Has anyone had this happen, on my wrist I have what appear to be a vein (although it seems to have a pulse) popping up like a little balloon. Sometimes it throbs, but most of the time it is just there. No redness or heat and it is soft to the touch. You can definitely feel the vein underneath however. After a stress test yesterday (I passed) I found another one of these on my leg just above the ankle. Again, other than the odd throb no issues. Saw my Doctor (MD) who was not concerned but did decide to order an ultrasound on my wrist. Anyone heard of this. It almost looks like that old garden hose that finally got a weak spot and has a bulge in it, only not as big of course. I am wondering if a supplement could cause this? Any thoughts anyone?

U have to self diagnose and self medicate take it from me docs suck and so does western medicine and the CDC sadly. I developed POTS basically it's where u stand up from aayimg down or sitting position and your blood pressure drops or pools and extreme dizziness everything goes almost black for me and feels like all this weight on my shoulders and head like fainting it's awful. I've heard babesia does this more not.so much Lyme. Also makes the veins bulge out and when my being are bulged out I can actually feels like veins kinda blow up like they're dialting I look down and there it is before my eyes docs deny it has anything to do with it and say it's nothing to worry about.

Thanks for replying. I have found a solution for now. I use Kinesiology tape over the bulge and it stops the throbbing. In fact it is almost like it is not there. Don't know how it is on your skin long term, but sure feels a lot better.
