I was wondering if it is possible to Pulse Artemisinin for Babs. The reason being is that a week ago after taking the herb for four days I had a strong reaction to it. Lots of buzzing in my feet and anxiety that I haven't had for a long time. Maybe I need to treat Babs to get to 100 percent wellness? I discontinued the herb because of the reaction.

There are many doctors that pulse artemisinin. You should be able to find past threads about
this. If not, let me know and I can share a link.
The reason for pulsing artemisinin is to get around the enzyme that the body starts to produce which makes it ineffective.
I have not heard of any other babesia herbs that need to be pulses.

You should pulse Artemisinin.
The reason llmd’s say this is because your small intestine can produce an enzyme that renders the Art useless.
Some say only 4 days in a row and then take a week or longer off.

Woodduck,
I thought you were taking artemesia annua. Check the bottle. Artemisinin is an extracted constituent of artemisia and should be pulsed. Artemisia is not pulsed.
Buhner doesn’t recommend pulsing whole herbs, only artemisinin.
If you are asking about
pulsing to help you tolerate it better, I would wait until you feel better and then restart at a dose you easily tolerate and slooooowly work up from there.
If you want to treat babesia, I would also add in Sida acuta, cryptolepis, and Bidens pilosa if you are not already taking those. One at a time, low and slow. Sida and crypto can hit hard. Bidens is mild, IMO.

Older posts do say Artemesia Annua.
...in that case it doesn't need to be pulsed...as WBF said - lower your dose.

You don’t pulse Artemesia
Just artemisinin
Depends on the LLMD - MR (retired) was something like 4 on and 10 off
