Hey All,

I know I'm going to sound like a broken record but I can't stop myself lately from worrying that I have Lupus. The hair loss, spider veins, and raynauds type symptoms in my hands can all be symptoms of it and I just don't know what to do? Doctors haven't helped all that much and I don't want to see a Rheumatologist if they're just going to diagnose me without understanding Lyme and the co-infections and all that they come with.
If I muscle test I get a negative result for it and my muscle testing still tells me Lyme's coinfections like my Bartonella are causing these symptoms.

It's just that dang blood test back in April that my husband warned me not to get that keeps messing with me. It was indeterminate for Lupus and had the positive ANA and Positive Cardiolipins...just everything else was negative except for my Hashimoto's Disease of course which has gotten worse.

I do plan to see a counselor actually soon as my health stuff is just becoming so much for me.

I really would appreciate some support and prayer.

If I remember correctly, you have been on pharmaceutical antibiotics for Lyme and co-infections, right? Several of those (minocycline, amoxicillin, sulfa abx like bactrim, etc.) can cause positive ANA and positive cardiolipin tests. Many of us have hair loss, Raynaud's, miscarriages, and spider veins as well. It really all could be explained by Lyme and co-infections and/or the drugs you have treated with recently.

If you are concerned, then is it possible to have those tests run again once you are off abx?

Can you see a functional medicine doctor or someone else who has experience with both Lyme and autoimmune illness?

Seeing a counselor is a great idea - probably for all of us! This complex illness can be so overwhelming, and it's really ridiculous that most of us have to manage it by ourselves. Stress has very real effects on our health, so do whatever you can to get support.

I haven’t been on antibiotics since fall of last year which I’m actually grateful for. I’m going to go see a supplement and homeopathic specialist tomorrow and ask him about all this. The pain with the veins and trouble with them has definitely been what’s bothering me most do I’m gonna ask him about that.

I don’t see the FMD till Monday about my hormones and I see the lady who’s treating me for the co-infections on Thursday next week. She’s the one who’s certain the antibiotics I’ve taken have done nothing for the Bartonella and Mycoplasma and they’re still major problems. I just got to get back on a path to healing like I was most of 2016. I was in a car accident in the fall of 2016 and it turned everything upside down. Got to try and turn it all around again.

Thanks for your support and I’m sure the counseling will help as well.

The functional MD is probably the best person to talk to about the lupus labs and concerns.

Sounds like you’re seeing a lot of different practitioners. Are they working together to help you and to create treatment plans that work well together?

Praying you will get the clear responses you need about your concerns and will have peace and direction in how to proceed. God bless you.

I’ve asked her about the lupus labs (FMD) and she doesn’t seem concerned by them honestly. I will tell her though how concerned I am.

All of the practitioners do work pretty well together. I just actually sent in my 23andme dna kit. They want to see how my dna works to work with it properly.

- raynauds and hashi go hand in hand, not uncommon.

-ANA pos means little...............its the percentage thing /whatever its called after that has any real meaning.

I never have heard that Raynaud’s goes hand in hand with Hashimotos. Thanks for that info.

if you clear bartonella biofilm the blood flow will return to the hands and feet . the hair loss stopped with iodine (thyroid) and flares are just more activity of pathogens. lupus meds will destroy your immune sx -they killed my cousin at 28 with bs diagnosis!
fwiw i saw 60yo blue spider legs clear with a year of bvt btw....zhang formula for bart were the best if you can swing the cost.

Yeah my doc honestly doesn’t want me to see a rheum and get a bs diagnosis. He doesn’t want me on those bad drugs. I’m only 29 and have two young kids and just got to keep fighting.

Supplemental iodine is recommended for regular hypothyroid.

BUT..once (if) it turns into autoimmune Hashimoto, then iodine can be detrimental and can contribute to thyroid gland destruction by the antibodies.

Best thing for Hashimoto is 100% gluten free, not 90%- tried that. Corn free is second. This slows, pauses and can even reverse the autoimmune destruction in many cases;...... proven with lab testing.

I am 100% gluten free. Definitely not corn free as that one is difficult. I do try and buy more non-gmo corn products though.

for what its worth a lot lupus like persons have toxoplasmosis or another escaped gut protozoan infection. bigger bugs seem to fall easily with plasma rife....

I’ve been told I got a lot of bugs going on by my frequency lady. Hopefully if I clear them these lupus like symptoms will clear up. The guy I see who does muscle testing doesn’t think I have lupus just a lot of bacteria in my system. You sound on to something bluelyme

for the systemic inflammation caused by these bugs that they say whatever label is real and was debilitating pain wise next to venom which is the best anti-inflammatory , i had some compounded medical grade iv curcumin.... knowing thats not in everyones scope ; orally in large doses may hit gut stuff as well , boswelia powder in dmso on joints and ooo&milk baths were good hacks for the budget.
